Overview
Our client is a well-funded startup (over 100 people) and is readying to scale. They have an industry leading suite of online advertising and audience targeting solutions. They are at the cutting edge and are shaping the future of the AdTech industry.
We are seeking a BI Engineer to be the core resource in the Analytics team, working alongside Data Analysts and Data Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Use data to convey insights and enable better decision making across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Develop clear analysis, reporting, dashboards and visualisations
- Standardise data definitions and metrics across the business
- Build and own a centralised knowledge centre and data repository to enable the sharing of insights across stakeholders
- Improve processes and create efficiencies (for example explore creating an internal GPT)
- Automate and track queries through a ticketing system to orchestrate to the relevant expert
- and lots more!
Technical skills required:
- Mathematics, Engineering or related Data undergraduate or postgraduate degree
- SQL (there will be a short SQL test as part of the interview process)
- BI / Analytical skills gained through projects, research or early career experience
Nice to have / you will get exposure to / be trained on:
- Data Build Tool (DBT)
- Exposure to Python, R or other relevant tools/languages are a plus
