About Us:

At Diagnostic World, we are committed to delivering high-quality NHS and private healthcare services across the Midlands and South-East. We provide General & Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and Echocardiography, helping patients access diagnostic services closer to home.

We are looking for a Clinical Lead – Ultrasound to provide leadership and training across our ultrasound services in the UK. If you are passionate about patient care, clinical excellence, and developing a strong team, this role is for you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and support sonographers, ensuring high-quality and safe ultrasound services.
  • Perform ultrasound scans in line with RCR & SOR standards and company protocols.
  • Work alongside the Clinical Trainer to provide training and mentorship to clinical teams.
  • Drive service development and ensure excellent patient experience.
  • Investigate incidents, review audits, and participate in clinical governance.
  • Support the accreditation process and service compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • PGDip in Ultrasound (or equivalent from a UK institution).
  • Professional body registration (HCPC/SOR).
  • Significant clinical experience as a qualified sonographer.
  • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills.
  • Understanding of CQC standards, clinical governance, and patient safety.
  • Full UK driving licence.
