Diagnostic World is a healthcare company which prides itself on delivering high-quality ultrasound scanning services in the local community on behalf of the NHS. Our clinics are run from GP practices and hospitals nationally, offering more patient choice and flexibility around days and timings of appointments.

Main duties of the job

  • To be responsible for transporting the portable ultrasound scanner and equipment from practice to practice as required ready for the start of the clinical session. A car is essential for this role.

Job responsibilities

  • To carry out patient care duties and to assist Sonographers and act as a Chaperone during the clinics, including use of IT equipment.
  • Providing aftercare for patients following scanning procedures.
  • To assist the sonographer in cleaning requirements as required.
  • Ensure that clinic rooms are clean and put back to how the room was at the start of the clinic.
  • To adhere to company policy and procedures in terms of health and safety, data protection and confidentiality.
  • To maintain an inventory of clinical disposables and replenish as required in conjunction with Clinic Manager.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Excellent patient care and communication skills.
  • Friendly outgoing professional personality.
  • Ability to work as part of a small, focused team.
  • Eligibility to reside and work in the UK.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to plan and prioritize work.
