This full-time, permanent role (37.5 hours per week) is based in Leicester and pays up to £60,000 depending on experience — plus uncapped earning potential. The more you scan, the more you earn. Simple. You’ll work in well-equipped community settings, performing a wide range of scans that make a real difference to patients who can’t wait weeks for answers. You’ll be scanning across:
- General abdominal
- Gynae and pelvic
- Small parts
- Vascular and MSK
- Early pregnancy (if trained)
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out ultrasound scans independently to a high standard
- Write clear, actionable reports for each scan
- Escalate findings quickly when needed
- Take part in audit, feedback and improving how we work
- Help train new colleagues or offer second opinions when needed
- Look after your equipment and stay clinically up to date
