Role Overview: At Diageo, your role will focus on driving Guinness's off‐trade growth, unlocking year‐round penetration and frequency across Grocery, Convenience and Digital channels, while building brand desirability and promoting at‐home quality perceptions.

Role Dimensions: Guinness is one of the most iconic brands in the world and is enjoying a period of exceptional growth as No.1 beer in GB. This role looks to unlock the next chapter of growth of Guinness in the Off‐Trade, doubling Guinness share by unlocking all‐year‐round penetration and frequency, converting seasonal shoppers into repeat purchasers across the portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the cross‐functional delivery of the next phase of Guinness off‐trade growth, across Grocery, Convenience and Digital, driving sustainable volume and value growth in collaboration with key strategic customers.
  • Build desirability and elevate at‐home quality perceptions, positioning Guinness as the premium choice for meaningful, high‐quality occasions linked to sport, food and social rituals.
  • Establish and embed a test‐and‐learn culture, enabling rapid insight generation, agile optimisation and the fast scaling of ideas proven to drive impact.
  • Define and embed a clear pack and price architecture strategy, fully integrated into the annual commercial and planning cycle to support premiumisation and long‐term growth.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in consumer marketing and/or off‐trade channel roles, with a proven track record of delivering incremental brand and category growth.
  • Proven experience leading end‐to‐end marketing campaigns, managing an integrated agency ecosystem from briefing through to execution across the full media mix and into point of purchase, in close collaboration with customers.
  • Experience working in matrixed organisations with multiple stakeholders across Global, in‐market and commercial teams.
  • Strong ability to translate consumer, shopper and cultural data into actionable insight, driving clear brand and commercial outcomes.
  • Demonstrated capability to use data, performance learning and effectiveness metrics to improve marketing prioritisation, decision‐making and return on investment over time.
