Overview
The role will provide day-to-day financial and analytical support to the commercial finance team and partner our field sales and key account teams. This is a newly created role to enhance reporting, provide insightful data analysis, and support forecasting and process improvements. The role will help the business understand financial performance and support commercial decision-making and involves supporting the creation of a BPM process and business‐partnering our field sales and key account teams.
Responsibilities
- Deliver weekly and monthly reporting and analysis
- Assist with month-end processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Support OFT activity management
- Detailed cash / invoicing performance review
- Support analysis of customer performance
- Help prepare presentations and reports for commercial and senior business partners
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity
- Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests from the commercial finance team
- Help improve reporting processes and identify automation opportunities
- Initial support of the creation of a BPM process for field sales and key accounts and then performance manage ongoing
Qualifications
- Degree (or studying toward) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
- Skilled in financial analysis and modelling, with intermediate/advanced Excel proficiency
- Strong understanding of how financial outcomes relate to business drivers
- Effective communicator, confident in sharing insights with varied business partners
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Interest in pursuing a professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
- Experience in FP&A, management accounting, or commercial finance, preferably in FMCG, Beverage or Retail sectors
- Exposure to finance systems or reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Excel models)
- Exposure to FMCG
