About the role
This role is instrumental in accelerating our delivery of Scope 3 / Carbon & Water goals through the development of external roadmaps of our most influential / critical suppliers. Provide the visibility and glidepath required to meet our Grain to Glass strategy.
Working directly with key suppliers, you will design, launch, and manage Scope 3 Roadmaps. To do this, you will leverage our technology solutions to help the business make data-driven decisions about our decarbonisation & water strategies with suppliers. Your will be the key point of contact and advisor to internal stakeholders: Grain to Glass team, Procurement Category managers, and others.
This role sits in Supplier Excellence & Social Procurement team, the individual will work very closely with the Grain to Glass Strategy Teams & Global and Market Category Managers to embed strategy into the roadmaps.
Role Responsibilities

Lead on the Design & Launch of Scope 3 Roadmaps for Carbon and Water Supplier engagement programs, leveraging your sustainability expertise.

Lead workshops with key stakeholders to define programme objectives, KPIs and timelines to successfully deliver Scope 3 Roadmaps for Carbon and Water.

Build compelling deliverables including Programme Strategy Documents, Supplier Communications Packs and Roadmaps.

Carry out supplier sessions to ensure suppliers are aligned on programme goals and are set up for success in sharing data via our technology solutions.

Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders: suppliers and internal to Diageo, offering continuous strategic and practical support.

Conduct quarterly Roadmaps reviews with suppliers and stakeholders to assess progress, refine strategies, and ensure they are on track to achieve the goals
Key Skills, Experience & Capabilities

Significant experience in a high-performance environment ideally delivering multiple high impact sustainability projects.

Graduate or equivalent or member of professional bodies e.g. IEMA
-
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis (e.g. MS Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, SQL or similar).

Demonstrated performance when both leading and working on programs with global cross-functional teams, experience in executing programs aligned to category and Procurement strategies.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

Ability in leading Supplier Collaboration/Supplier Relationship Management programmes desirable.
