Responsibilities
- Lead and advocate good governance to ensure that all health, safety and environment targets are met by driving site compliance with all legislation and internal Company Standards.
- Drive the risk compliance agenda across their group to ensure improved site performance against risk KPIs and delivery of site strategy goal of 100% compliance.
- Ensure zero additional costs to site through non-compliance, and, in line with Diageo’s code of conduct, source the most financially viable option when identifying suppliers of materials/training.
- Manage all contractors administration on site, including supplier tendering, contractor inductions and scheduling of works. Assist with assessing suitability of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and challenge RAMS that do not meet Diageo standards.
- Use bespoke systems including SAP, Entropy, EQMS & Enablon to record data and source necessary information.
- Support the leadership team with the compliance agenda to deliver against site vision and mission.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate adherence to site compliance and governance actions (Entropy/Enablon/OneLook) including MOC, SIRC, and All Site Governance Actions.
- Understand the Management of Change process and provide support/driving action as required.
- Review, update and administer site documents on EQMS.
- Assist in completing sign-offs on operational work instructions, risk assessments, legislative training, and OH health surveillance checks.
- Where applicable, assist with emergency response on-site in coordination with emergency services.
- Governance data compliance and current BL compliance tasks; support CARM needs across the site.
- Update site registers (e.g., Confined Space, Working at Height, Asbestos) and manage Legionella checks as required.
- Prepare and administer FACTS documents and HACCP reviews.
- Support planned governance site visits and audits (e.g., Willis, CARM, Occ Hygiene Surveys, ISO, FEMAS as applicable); act as Auditee for internal/external audits and assist with audit prep.
- SAP administration and related tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
- Completed an externally recognised qualification in business administration or equivalent.
- NEBOSH qualified (working towards).
- Experience of working in a team and meeting the demands of a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in standard business software (MS Office) and Diageo packages (SAP, EQMS, Entropy, Enablon, Discoverer, Quip) and third-party portals as required.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Good knowledge of H&S requirements for production areas.
- Interpersonal/communication skills; ability to prioritise time and workload; ability to build/maintain strong relationships with site management and key stakeholders; and the ability to challenge others to achieve desired outcomes for the site.
