Project Manager

Diageo Supply Chain & Procurement is at the heart of Diageo’s premium drinks business, as the division responsible for production of iconic brands sold all around the world. These operations have broad geographic and cultural spread, requiring significant sensitivity and the ability to influence across Diageo group boundaries.

The Margin Enhancement team, situated within Diageo Supply Chain & Procurement’s Global Technical function, facilitate the development and execution of packaging and liquid specification simplification projects, across brands, markets and categories. We deliver groundbreaking projects through the lens of the end-to-end value chain, bringing together brand owners, markets and supply expertise in Procurement, Manufacturing and Logistics, to develop and execute margin enhancing opportunities as #onediageo.

The purpose of this role is to deliver projects that protect and assure Diageo’s margins and business continuity. The role will require the development of key relationships across Diageo’s brand teams, markets and supply organisations.

Skills

  • Experienced in managing and delivering complex projects.
  • Experienced in managing and communicating with a complex set of stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing processes.
  • Awareness of financial principles and drivers (Cost of Goods, Bill of Materials, Net Sales Value, Gross Margin).
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI.
  • Attention to detail is key, with an inquisitive & questioning nature.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous or incomplete data and find solutions to drive insights.
  • Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Great at working as part of a global and virtual team, and pulling-in insights from other areas of the business through strong relationships.

As a temporary contractor, you\’ll be employed by our Managed Service Provider, Magnit Global, who manage most of our temporary contract hiring, you will not be employed by Diageo.
