European Graduate Programme

Function: Planning & Logistics – Supply Chain & Procurement

Location: Scotland – Leven (Fife), Shieldhall (Glasgow) or Ireland, St James Gate (Dublin) Year 1 rotations include Leven, Shieldhall, St James Gate.

Start Date: 1st September 2026

As part of Diageo\’s Planning & Logistics Graduate Programme, you\’ll harness data-driven insights and ground breaking digital technology to manage products and materials across our global supply chain.

Throughout this dynamic three-year rotational programme, you\’ll gain comprehensive insights into our Planning & Logistics operations while developing essential skills that will propel your career forward.

What to expect:

Year 1: Immersion into Logistics Operations

Dive deep into our logistics operations to understand the intricacies of supply chain management. Possible rotations include roles such as Primary Logistics Manager, Project Manager, Market Service Owner, and Shipping Analyst.

Year 2: Transition to Planning Function

In your second year, you\’ll transition into our planning function to explore inventory management, production planning, and gain experience with Diageo\’s planning systems. You\’ll also focus on using data for decision-making by analysing supply chain critical metrics and understanding risk management, including assessment and mitigation planning. Possible rotations could include roles like Market Planner, Business Planner, or Category Supply Planner.

Year 3: Project Leadership & Innovation

The third year will see you build upon your knowledge from the first two years by taking on significant projects. You\’ll engage in project leadership involving execution, capacity planning, budget forecasting, and resource coordination. Additionally, you\’ll explore supply chain innovation by investigating emerging technologies like automation and AI in logistics. Your involvement will extend to cross-functional central initiatives where you’ll participate in projects such as Digital Transformation or Logistics Automation.

For the Planning and Logistics Graduate Programme, we are particularly interested to hear from graduates with degrees in Business Related subjects, Supply Chain Management, Logistics & Transportation, Operations Management or Digital Transformation Distilling and expect to be graduating in 2026 or have graduated within the last 2 years. You must be proficient in English, and with opportunities across Europe you must be mobile and prepared to relocate geographically during the programme.
