Role Purpose
To provide expert SAP technical support and configuration for the implementation of new plants and trading structures associated with a Diageo production managed by a third party. The role ensures seamless system design, integration, testing, and cutover execution across multiple SAP modules and connected systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Design & Configuration
- Design, build, and configure SAP solutions to support new plants, trading chains, and related supply chain flows.
- Define detailed SAP configuration across impacted modules to support production, logistics, finance, and commercial processes.
- Ensure system design aligns with business process standards and third-party operational requirements.
- Implementation Support
- Provide hands-on technical support for the onboarding of third-party manufacturing related to Santa Vittoria.
- Collaborate with functional teams and process owners to translate business requirements into robust SAP solutions.
- Testing Ownership
- Define, prepare, and execute unit testing and regression testing.
- Support integration testing across SAP and connected platforms.
- Document test results and drive issue resolution within required timelines.
- Cutover & Go-Live Support
- Support technical cutover planning and execution activities.
- Assist with data load validation, environment readiness, and configuration migration.
- Provide hypercare support post go-live to ensure stability and issue resolution.
- System Integration
- Ensure seamless integration with internal and external systems including SAP APO, OMP, and third-party SAP environments.
- Troubleshoot interface issues and support data flow integrity across the end-to-end value chain.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify system enhancement opportunities and drive solutions to improve performance and usability.
- Ensure documentation of configuration, interfaces, and technical solutions is kept up to date.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential
- Strong, hands-on SAP technical knowledge.
- Proven experience in SAP design, configuration, and technical troubleshooting.
- Experience working in complex integration landscapes involving multiple SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics business processes.
