In this role you will lead the regional media agenda for Diageo’s brands, translating global media blueprints into market-ready plans that drive profitable growth.
You’ll unify cross-market execution within the Connected Reach framework, leveraging data-driven audience strategies and AI-enabled activation.
You will partner with in-market teams and agencies to balance global consistency with local relevance, focusing on full-funnel media across Paid, Retail, Search, Social and Creator ecosystems.

Responsibilities
- Own the development and deployment of regional media plans aligned with global strategy and local growth goals.
- Oversee integrated full-funnel media activation to maximize reach, effectiveness and ROI.
- Lead data-driven audience strategies and AI-enabled planning, buying, and optimization.
- Co-lead Retail Media strategy and ensure integration with broader plans.
- Uphold media standards and compliance with DMC, TMP, data privacy and brand safety requirements.
- Manage risks related to media investment, data usage and platform integrity.
- Influence in-market, global and agency partners to deliver high-performance outcomes.
- Drive commercial accountability for category growth, ROI and media efficiency.
- Key requirements
- 8+ years in media planning, activation, digital marketing or agency leadership
- Deep expertise in Paid Media, Programmatic, Social, Search, Video and Retail Media
- Track record of improving media effectiveness and business performance
- Experience driving digital transformation through automation and AI-enabled solutions
- Strong understanding of audience strategy, measurement and data-driven decisions
- Experience in complex, multi-market environments with varying maturity
- Ability to lead and challenge agency/partner performance
