About The Role
As Africa Innovation Business Planner, you will play a key role in delivering innovation and renovation projects across Africa. You’ll lead the supply chain elements of new product launches, ensuring they are delivered on time while managing risks and driving continuous improvement in planning processes. You will also lead portfolio optimisation initiatives, working closely with global and market teams to identify opportunities and shape a more efficient and effective product portfolio.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end supply chain delivery for innovation and renovation projects
- Identify, manage and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure successful launches
- Track project readiness and post-launch performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including demand planning, marketing and customer service
- Drive improvements in demand, supply and materials planning processes
- Lead portfolio simplification and optimisation initiatives
- Coordinate and deliver portfolio segmentation review cycles with regional and market teams

Experience / Skills Required
- Experience across end-to-end supply chain planning (demand, supply and logistics)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and markets
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with planning systems such as SAP, APO or OMP
