In this role you drive global category strategies and value creation across commercial and sustainability goals.
You collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and partners to deliver cross-market insights and innovative solutions.
You will shape category strategies, lead sourcing and negotiations, and strengthen risk and supplier performance.

Responsibilities
- Develop and apply category expertise across spend areas; share knowledge within global procurement
- Lead market intelligence and global sourcing strategies; benchmark and improve tools and processes
- Build stakeholder and supplier relationships to deliver value and enable collaboration
- Lead sourcing activities for global/above-market categories and negotiate contracts using the Negotiation Toolkit
- Manage contract governance, compliance, and lifecycle
- Identify and mitigate strategic and supplier risks; enhance supply resilience
- Drive supplier performance and development, focusing on cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability
- Support supplier fitness strategy by evaluating capability and ensuring continuity of supply
- Drive value creation through cost efficiencies, innovation, and demand optimization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into sourcing strategies
- Key requirements
- Commercially minded with strong negotiation, influencing and leadership skills
- Proven supplier management experience leading large-scale, cross-functional projects
- Strong knowledge of procurement practices, category management and strategic sourcing
- Experience leading a global procurement category
- Strong ability to engage and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
- Experience across end-to-end supply chain (Sales and Marketing involvement)
- Proven track record delivering pan-regional/global sourcing initiatives
- Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification advantageous
