Europe Marketing Procurement Specialist, Brand Partnerships (Sponsorship, Talent, Culture and Entertainment)
Diageo is hiring a Europe Marketing Procurement Specialist to lead Brand Partnerships across Sponsorships, Talent, Culture and Entertainment within the marketing A&P function. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term position based in London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Hamburg or Madrid.
About the Role
- Lead the Brand Partnerships Category across Europe (Great Britain, Ireland, France, Iberia, DACH, Italy, Benelux & Nordics, Greece, Poland, Eastern Europe, MENA).
- Build and implement category plans aligned with the Global Category Strategy and Europe Category Strategy/Implementation plan.
- Support end‑to‑end execution of category strategies with global and market category colleagues.
- Foster and nurture key stakeholder relationships internally and externally to shape investment decisions and minimise risk.
- Drive development and optimisation of the agency ecosystem for business and brand needs.
- Lead sourcing activities, negotiate with agency partners, manage work‑plans and contract processes.
- Lead Relationship Collaboration Programme initiatives across relevant areas.
- Maintain highest standards of compliance – risk management, spend monitoring, savings tracking, contract management, cost modelling/benchmarking.
- Apply data‑led decision making and utilise key tools and data to generate insights and influence decisions.
- Develop deep expertise in specific spend categories.
Qualifications
- Experience in a procurement, marketing, project management, commercial or sponsorship role within brand partnerships (sports, entertainment, music, culture, talent).
- Strong analytical skills, understanding of cost drivers and the ability to deliver end‑to‑end value.
- Proven track record of executing projects and driving strategic change through stakeholder influence.
- Excellent communication skills – able to articulate across all levels and inspire internal teams and external partners.
- Independent thinker with strong leadership capabilities, able to inspire marketing teams and agency partners.
- Experience in high‑spend negotiations in procurement or marketing level is advantageous.
