Electrical Production Engineer – Weekend Only

Location: Leven, Scotland
Contract: Fixed Term and Permanent Opportunities Available

About the Role

As an Electrical Production Engineer, you will be part of the Packaging Line Craft team, bringing your technical expertise to help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations across high-speed packaging lines. You’ll support asset care, carry out planned and reactive maintenance, and drive improvements in line performance, safety, quality, and delivery.

Working closely with operators and team leaders, you’ll also coach colleagues in autonomous maintenance and troubleshooting. Your proactive approach to identifying and fixing problems will be key, and you’ll contribute to improvement projects, shift handovers, and Tier meetings. Safety is a top priority, and you’ll work in full compliance with safe systems of work, ensuring lockout/tagout and electrical standards are always met.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for an experienced and self-motivated electrical engineer who thrives in a team setting and is confident operating within a fast-paced, high-performing production environment. You’ll be comfortable working with SAP, maintenance systems, and have a structured approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

A recognised apprenticeship or HNC in electrical engineering (or equivalent) is essential. Ideally, you’ll have experience in FMCG or high-speed manufacturing, with an understanding of asset care systems and quality/safety compliance. A multiskilled background or willingness to develop further is a plus.
