As a key business partner to the MD, Head of Finance, and OGBL Department Heads, you will support the performance agenda and promote the best interests of all revenue streams.

This includes:

  • Taking a key role in monthly performance meetings.
  • Understanding the key dynamics of all functions and revenue streams and costs within the business.
  • Holding revenue stream heads to account for strong performance in their areas of responsibility.

Ideal experiences / Qualifications / capabilities:

  • Part or recently qualified accountant who will be studying or has studied towards their ACCA or CIMA qualifications.
  • Existing capability to build genuine relationships built on mutual trust & respect.
  • Successful management of senior stakeholders, resulting in strong and positive outcomes.
  • Comfort with dealing with ambiguity, complexity and working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and matrixed environment.
  • Deep personal accountability for great performance.
  • Strong commercial and numerical acumen with attention to detail.
  • Intermediate/advanced Excel and PowerBI tools.
  • Demonstrate you have mastered the basics in Financial Analysis.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support the performance cycle and act as a Key Business Partner - tracking the performance against financial plan (NSV, OP, Cash), and other critical metrics including performance to consumer and hospitality KPIs, and proactively managing associated risks and opportunities.
  • Support and challenge revenue pillars on sales and profit delivery, key KPIs, and cash targets.
  • Drive possibility thinking in commercial discussion, and support the development of new revenue stream/cost opportunities.
  • Help support in building Commercial and Financial acumen across the site and total team (Diageo & 3rd Party).
  • Quantify risks and ops for the AOP, and communicate these to leaders.
  • Drive an effective measurement and evaluation process for investment in the business, alongside key business partners.
  • Ongoing support for the understanding of cost management, driving efficiency in line with best in class and productivity agenda.
  • Support FC teams with month end accruals and reconciliations as required.
  • Provide direct cover for the Head of Finance, stepping into key meetings when required.
  • Maintain an exemplary controls and compliance environment, working with the Managing Director, Head of Finance, and risk and control partners.
  • Ensure accountability for, and ownership of, the controls environment.
  • Ensure all globally mandated CARE requirements are adhered to.
  • Support in the collection and sharing of key site information required for ESG requirements.
  • Ensure full visibility of risks and mitigation including a regular meeting of the Risk Management Committee.
