Production Operator at Marshalls Road, East Belfast. Permanent position with a salary of £42,945 (including shift allowance) plus a competitive benefits package including pension and shares scheme.

Our teams in 100 sites across over 30 countries cover production facilities, supplier relationships, customer collaborations, and third-party agreements. About the role: This role is site-based at Diageo’s east Belfast packaging facility, which runs a 24/7 operation. The site packages over 20 brands, including Guinness Draught, Extra Stout, and Foreign Extra Stout, Harp, Hop House 13, Smithwick’s, and Rockshore.
As an Operator, you’ll be responsible for:
- Quality control of the line
- Operating packaging machine processes while following standard operating procedures
- Preparing the line for shift handovers
Health and safety compliance is key, and you’ll monitor this alongside other KPIs and targets including quality, hygiene, waste, and efficiency.
You’ll be able to demonstrate the following:

- Ambition to support Team Leaders and grow into a leadership role
- A continuous improvement approach with confidence to suggest new ideas

Shifts: This role requires you to work a 42-hour week on a continental day/night shift pattern: x2 12-hour days, x2 12-hour nights with 4 days off.
