Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations of a large, multi-experience hospitality venue.
  • Ensure smooth delivery of services across bars, restaurants, events, and brewery experiences.
  • Maintain legal and community commitments (e.g. licensing, OMP).
  • Assist in managing relationships with key partners, including Sodexo.
  • Support financial performance targets.
  • The manager on duty will be in charge of any crisis and must be fully trained to act fast.
  • Responsible for attending incidents and coordinating with security.
  • Primarily responsible for first aid and must be able to attend any incident quickly.
  • Responsible for areas of quality control, ensuring a perfect pint of Guinness every time.
  • Coordinate evacuations in the event of a fire, ensuring all areas are clear.
  • Navigate across all floors on the site to ensure smooth running of the business.
  • Assist in training across all areas of the business.
  • Conduct security briefings throughout the day.
  • Assist in departments with shift delivery, stock organisation, and bar service.
  • Participate in event setup, moving furniture as needed.
  • Lifting and carrying stock, setting up event spaces, restocking bars and retail.
  • Handle refuse and assist in emergency tasks.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience of running large high turnover hospitality premises.
  • Licensing experience, preferably prior DPS experience.
  • Crisis Management experience.
  • Experience managing and liaising with on-site security teams.
  • Facilities and maintenance management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience of high level of standards management.
  • Able to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
  • Prior experience of managing site wide health and safety and compliance.
