About the role:
As a Diageo Engineering Apprentice in Stirling, you’ll step into a hands‑on, high‑energy environment where curiosity is encouraged, and your development genuinely matters. What You’ll Get Involved In:
- Supporting our engineers in keeping production lines running efficiently and safely
- Learning directly from experts on the ground and building your technical skills along the way
- Shadowing expert team members to see how real engineering challenges are approached and solved
- Presenting your project work, showcasing your learning and contributing new ideas
- Delivering a weekly job review to strengthen your communication skills, confidence, and self‑reflection
This four‑year programme helps you build strong technical foundations and a recognised qualification in one of the following pathways:
- HNC Engineering Systems
- HNC Mechanical Engineering
This 4-year programme will see you spend your 1st year at Forth Valley College of Further Education learning all theoretical understanding of the apprenticeship, followed by 3 years based at Diageo Blackgrange with real hands‑on experience and day release for college. Your final year will introduce working at any one of our 7 maturation south sites across central Scotland, operating independently with tradespeople and as part of a team of engineers.

- Additional National 5 in a Science, Technical or hands-on subject.

What the selection process looks like:
- STEP 1 — CV Submission: Share your current CV with your education and any experience such as part‑time work, volunteering, sports, hobbies, or projects. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences. We will review all applications and you should receive notification within 2 weeks on whether you are being progressed to step 2.
- STEP 2 — Video Interview: If selected, you’ll complete a short Hirevue video interview. (Where applicable, you can share your preferred specialty area.)
- STEP 3 — Assessment Centre: These assessment centres are held on‑site and last typically around 3 hours. You’ll meet members of the team and take part in activities designed to understand your strengths as well as having the opportunity to meet current apprentices and ask questions.
