About the Function Our Supply Chain and Manufacturing team are problem-solvers, sourcing, producing, and delivering our much-loved brands to delight customers around the globe. About the role As a Shift Manager, you will play a key role in leading and motivating the shift team to deliver World Class performance across all aspects including Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost. You will be responsible for ensuring that all health, safety, environmental, quality, cost, and reliability standards are met, while driving conformance to regulatory and accreditation standards such as ISO and HACCP within packaging operations. You will actively run the complexities of a fast-paced and high-demand production environment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products safely and on schedule. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will engage with your team to drive significant changes, using lean and manufacturing excellence tools. Additionally, you will coach and lead your line team in the deployment of Manufacturing Management Systems (MMS) practices, while ensuring high levels of performance and adherence to policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include: Ensuring the team meets key performance indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, service, and cost. Leading and developing a multi-disciplinary team of 10 to 20 people, fostering a high-performance culture. Implementing and driving change through structured problem-solving techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM. Being actively involved in production planning and maintaining high performance on the shop floor Leading the Asset Care agenda and resolving operational issues in real-time. About You To succeed in this role, you will need to have a demonstratable experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment. You should be passionate about driving continuous improvement and be adept at leading people performance and coaching teams to achieve their potential. NEBOSH/IOSH and IBD qualifications are beneficial but not essential for this role. Proficiency in structured problem-solving and process improvement techniques (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM). A strong understanding of the financial and business drivers within manufacturing, as well as budgeting processes. Your leadership will be key in developing team morale and performance. Youll have a proactive approach to problem-solving, able to identify and address underperformance in real-time.
