About the Role This 3-year programme is structured to get the very best out of you.
Over the course of your apprenticeship, you will be working towards a qualification in ENGINEERING (ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONIC) Level 5 Foundation Degree Higher Level Apprenticeship.
Who are we looking for? Prospective applicants may be required to attend Individual or Group Pre-Entry Advice Sessions (IPEAS and GPEAS) as part of the selection process.
These sessions may take place on campus, via telephone, or through a video call (Microsoft Teams) and are an essential component in assessing suitability for all courses.
To be eligible for entry, applicants must: Be at least18 years of age on or before1st July in the year of their proposed course entry.
Typically hold aminimum Level 3 qualification equivalent to56 UCAS tariff points.
This must include at leastone full A2 subject (combinations of AS levels will not be accepted) or an equivalent qualification such as aSubsidiary Diploma or an Adult Access qualification in Science.
Applicants withLevel 3 NVQ qualifications will be considered on an individual basis.
However, they may be required to complete additional assessments inMathematics and English before being accepted onto the course.
Have achieved at least15 points at Level 2 or above (e.g., GCSE) or hold an equivalent approved qualification.
Provideclear evidence of proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Youll be a tenacious problem-solver, whos proud of getting a great job done, and someone who shows integrity, respect for others and, above all, a passion for learning something new every day.
Having strong communication skills and being able to collaborate will set you up for success.

Selecting the right individuals to join our programme is crucial to us we want to see all that complete this Apprenticeship succeed and keep crafting a satisfying career This is why we have built a robust selection process: 1st STEP CV application andPymetricsassessment At this stage, it is important that you submit your updated CV, clearly stating your highest acquired education and your experience.
No prior experience is required to be considered for the apprenticeship program.
A brief description of your part time jobs, volunteering, sports, and hobbies can be a fantastic way to introduce yourself.
Right after your CV submission, you will receive an email with a link to Pymetrics to participate in an online game based assessment.
Please make sure to complete the set in a quiet environment with no distraction and stable Wi-Fi.
If you successfully pass the first screening stage, you will then be invited to the second step.
2nd STEP Video Interview 3rd Step Assessment Centre Some roles and locations may also be subject to a 4th stage where you will be invited to site to meet with additional managers for a tour to help you fully understand the role you are applying for.
