Packaging Team Leader – Weekends

Location: Leven

Contract: Full-time & 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract Available

Shift Pattern: 07:00–19:00 Friday, Saturday & Sunday (Some flexibility required for occasional midweek cover)

Closing Date: 04th June

If you’re looking for something different — a leadership role that delivers impact and gives you midweek free — this could be exactly what you’ve been waiting for. Working just three days a week means more time for family commitments, personal projects, study, travel, or simply enjoying your weekdays while others are at work. It’s a compressed working pattern that offers both responsibility and flexibility.

If you’re looking for a role with real ownership, strategic input, and the opportunity to shape a culture of continuous improvement — this is your chance.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of Operators, Equipment Owners and Engineers
  • Drive performance across safety, quality, cost, delivery and morale metrics
  • Champion Manufacturing Excellence and Lean principles
  • Build a strong continuous improvement culture through structured problem-solving and root cause analysis
  • Own and deliver balanced scorecard targets for your area
  • Shape and deliver the medium-to-long-term strategy for your lines, including CapEx and productivity improvement proposals
  • Take full ownership of day-to-day “run” activities while actively leading “improve” initiatives

Your Impact

This is more than managing a shift. You will create an environment where:

  • People feel engaged, supported and accountable
  • Standards are clear and consistently delivered
  • Problems are solved at root cause
  • Performance improves sustainably

You will operate decisively and with agility, supporting ongoing growth and change while maintaining high operational standards.

We’d love to hear from you if you bring:

  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong coaching and team development capability
  • Experience driving continuous improvement and Lean practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Confidence influencing across functions and building strong working relationships
  • Energy, resilience and a proactive mindset

Food safety experience is desirable. FMCG experience particularly with bottling is also an advantage.

Rewards & Benefits Statement

We recognise and value performance, offering our people a highly competitive Rewards and Benefits package including an annual bonus, prorated annual leave for weekend staff, product allowance, and the invaluable benefit of 6 months of paid family leave. Prioritise your well-being with private medical insurance and share options, securing your financial future. Immerse yourself in our unique location, infused with heritage and iconic brands. Bid farewell to parking hassles with complimentary on-site parking and relish our well-maintained facilities.

Diversity Statement

Our purpose is to celebrate life, every day, everywhere. And creating an inclusive culture, where everyone feels valued and that they can belong, is a crucial part of this. We embrace diversity in the broadest possible sense. This means that you’ll be welcomed and celebrated for who you are just by being you. You’ll be part of and help build and champion an inclusive culture that celebrates people of different gender, ethnicity, ability, age, sexual orientation, social class, educational backgrounds, experiences, mindsets, and more.

Feel inspired? Then this may be the opportunity for you.
