With a strong heritage in Global Travel Retail, Johnnie Walker is the #1 blended scotch in the market and also the #1 Blended Scotch globally. It is one of the most complex and globally scaled brands in the spirits industry, operating across all geographies and spanning the full spectrum of price tiers—from accessible offerings like Red Label in the Standard segment to the pinnacle of luxury with Blue Label. This breadth creates both a significant opportunity and a unique challenge: to drive consistent, sustainable growth while maintaining the brand’s equity and consistency at every level.

This role requires a bold creative Marketer but also an enterprise level business leader given Johnnie Walker’s strategic importance—both within Global Travel Retail and across Diageo. At its core, this role requires exceptional marketing instinct: the ability to develop and execute creatively to the highest standard across all touchpoints. This creative vision must be matched by strong commercial acumen and the credibility to lead the growth agenda across all various stakeholders and markets.

The role will lead a team of three direct reports. Given the scale and significance of the Johnnie Walker business in Global Travel Retail, this is a deliberately lean structure. As such, it requires a leader with a high degree of personal ownership, pace, and accountability—someone who can seamlessly move between setting bold creative direction and driving hands-on delivery, with the ambition and resilience to realise transformative growth.
