You’llcollaborate with teams and partners around the world, helping deliver solutions that meet today’s needs while shaping what comes next.**About the Role**As a Global Procurement Specialist- Ingredients,you'llplay a key role in supporting the development and delivery of Diageo's global ingredients category strategy. Working closely with the Global Procurement Manager and a broad network of internal and external partners,you'llhelp deliver sourcing excellence, build strong supplierrelationshipsandidentifyopportunities to create value across the category.You'lllead and support competitive sourcing activities from end to end, including RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, commercial evaluations, contractimplementationand supplier onboarding. Using market intelligence, spend analysis and supplier performance data,you'llidentifyopportunities tooptimisecosts, improve productivity, mitigateriskand drive continuous improvement.Collaboration is central to the role.You'llwork with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to support governance, performancereviewsand Joint Business Planning, ensuring strong partnerships that contribute to the successful delivery of the category strategy.You'llalso harness digital procurement tools, AI,analyticsand reporting to enhance sourcing effectiveness and support data-driven decision making. Alongside this,you'llhelp ensure compliance with Procurement governance and contribute to delivering Diageo's Procurement 2028 priorities acrossSimplify, Scale and Orchestrate.**In this role, you will:*** Support the development and execution of Diageo's global Ingredients category strategy, driving sourcing excellence and commercial value.* Lead competitive sourcing activities, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, commercial evaluations, contractimplementationand supplier onboarding.* Analysespend, supplier performance and market intelligence toidentifyopportunities for productivity, costoptimisation, valuecreationand risk mitigation.* Build collaborative relationships with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders, supporting governance, performancereviewsand Joint Business Planning.* Leverage digital procurement tools, AI,analyticsand reporting to improve sourcing effectiveness and procurement performance.* Ensure compliance with Procurement governance while supporting the delivery of Diageo's Procurement 2028 strategy and priorities.**Experience / skills required:*** Degree qualified, (or equivalent experience) in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline.* Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or category management, including sourcing events, tender management and contract implementation.* Strong commercial, analytical and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in procurement systems and data analysis.* Digital procurement tools, AI or advanced analytics desirable.Flexibility is key to our success.
