We are looking for a Junior Commercial Finance Business Partner to support the GB Commercial Finance Team over the next 9 months. This is a 9‑month Fixed term contract opportunity! (until September 2026).
- Deliver weekly and monthly reporting and analysis.
- Assist with month‑end processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Support OFT activity management.
- Detailed cash / invoicing performance review.
- Support analysis of customer performance.
- Help prepare presentations and reports for commercial and senior business partners.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity.
- Support ad‑hoc analysis and reporting requests from the commercial finance team.
- Help improve reporting processes and identify opportunities.
- Initial support of the creation of a BPM process for field sales and key accounts, and then performance manage ongoing.
Requirements:
- Degree (or studying toward) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
- Skilled in financial analysis and modelling, with intermediate/advanced Excel proficiency.
- Strong understanding of how financial outcomes relate to business drivers.
- Effective communicator, confident in sharing insights with varied business partners.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Interest in pursuing a professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
- Experience in FP&A, management accounting, or commercial finance, preferably in FMCG, Beverage or Retail sectors.
- Exposure to finance systems or reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Excel models).
- Eager to learn with a strong commercial mindset.
- Clear communicator with the ability to work with non‑finance teams.
- Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks.
- Reliable and able to work to deadlines.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
