**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Step into a role where you’ll keep our production line flowing, champion quality, and help us make world‑class products. You’ll learn fast, think boldly, and play your part in creating a safer, smarter, more efficient workplace.

**What You’ll Do**

  • Run key machinery on the line and switch products with confidence
  • Carry out quality checks and keep our standards high
  • Keep your area safe, clean, and production‑ready
  • Troubleshoot machinery or process issues
  • Get involved in improvement projects that make our operations even better

This exciting programme will support you working towards a Food Manufacturing Excellence SCFQ Level 5. Covering a period of 2 years, your time will be split between Diageo Shieldhall and Glasgow Clyde for your study periods. In your 3rd year you will begin to cover shift work on site. Suitable transport to and from work and college would be beneficial.

**WHAT THE SELECTION PROCESS LOOKS LIKE**

  • STEP 1 — CV Submission - Share your current CV with your education and any experience such as part‑time work, volunteering, sports, hobbies, or projects. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences. We will review all applications and you should receive notification within 2 weeks on whether you are being progressed to step 2.
  • STEP 2 — Video Interview - If selected, you’ll complete a short Hirevue video interview. (Where applicable, you can share your preferred specialty area.)
  • STEP 3 — Assessment Centre - These assessment centres are held on‑site and last typically around 3 hours. You’ll meet members of the team and take part in activities designed to understand your strengths as well as having the opportunity to meet current apprentices and ask questions. This is a positive and energising experience for everyone involved!
