About the Distillery: The oldest working distillery on the Isle of Skye is set on the shores of Loch Harport with dramatic views of the Cuillins. Talisker is an iconic visitor centre that provides world-class visitor experiences to all our visitors from around the globe. Please note: This role will require weekend and evening work with opening and closing responsibilities.

You will be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day management of the Brand Home, organising tours and allocating them to your team.
  • Providing support to the Management team with all operational activities relating to the experiential, bar and retail offerings.
  • Driving the performance of the Brand Home and ensuring that the team delivers extraordinary standards of customer service and outstanding visitor experiences.
  • Providing daily support and supervision of the Brand Home Guides and agency staff, including scheduling, monitoring and recording of working hours, supporting new and ongoing training, and ensuring ongoing personal development.
  • Supporting the Management team with retail strategy and visual merchandising management.
  • Planning and implementing special events throughout the year and building community engagement.

To be successful in this role:

  • Experience leading elite teams whilst ensuring excellent customer service standards.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with customers and key partners.
  • Eager to lead projects and contribute to the performance of the Brand Home.
  • Experience working towards targets and leading the team to achieve these targets.
  • Flexibility for evening and weekend work throughout the year.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office or similar applications is preferred but not crucial.
