We are Diabetes UK and our mission is to tackle diabetes, day in and day out, until it can do no harm. With more people than ever living with diabetes and millions more at risk of developing Type 2, our work has never been more needed.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced public affairs professional to join us on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract.

In this role, you'll lead public affairs and influencing campaigns that help drive positive change for people living with, or at risk of, diabetes. Working closely with colleagues across policy, media, and communications you'll develop and deliver strategies to influence policy, engage decision-makers and raise the profile of Diabetes UK's priorities in Westminster and beyond.

We're looking for someone with experience in public affairs, campaigns or a related influencing role, a strong understanding of UK politics and policymaking, and a track record of delivering successful influencing strategies.

We offer a range of benefits, including a health cash plan, early finish Fridays and access to a strong learning and development offer. You can find full details attached below.
