IT Network Professional in Coventry

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Network Professional to design, implement, manage, and support our organisation\’s network infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure secure, reliable, and efficient network operations to support business and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN networks
• Install, configure, and manage network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Implement network security measures, including firewalls and access controls
• Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and network documentation
• Perform regular network maintenance, upgrades, and backups
• Support users with network-related technical issues
• Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors on network projects

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer / Network Administrator / IT Network Professional
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and VPNs
• Experience with firewalls and network security technologies
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux server environments
• Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is an advantage

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: £24,889.82-£46,977.64 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Coventry (West Midlands)
