Salary: £38,383 - £46,221 per annum

Location: Leicester or Derby with travel to other DHU sites.

Contract: 37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised Transformation & Improvement Junior Project Manager to join DHU Healthcare’s Transformation & Improvement team. This is a great opportunity for someone with project management, service improvement or change management experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will support the delivery of transformation and improvement initiatives that help improve efficiency, clinical effectiveness, value for money, staff experience and patient outcomes across DHU Healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and facilitate the delivery of low-complexity projects
  • Support larger transformation projects under the direction of senior Project Managers
  • Maintain effective project documentation, including project plans, action logs, risk logs, highlight reports and meeting minutes
  • Work with colleagues and external stakeholders to support clear communication and aligned ways of working
  • Produce reports that clearly communicate project progress, impact, risks and outcomes
  • Support governance, risk management, reporting and performance assurance processes
  • Ensure project deliverables meet required standards
  • Comply with information governance, data protection and confidentiality requirements
  • Help identify and resolve problems, including constructively challenging the status quo
  • Support improvement activity that benefits staff, patients and services

What you’ll bring

  • Proven planning and organisational experience, including project management
  • Training in project management, service improvement or change management
  • A relevant project management qualification such as PRINCE2 Foundation, MSP or equivalent, or willingness to complete training
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
  • Analytical skills and the ability to use qualitative and quantitative data
  • The ability to manage a complex workload under pressure and prioritise deadlines
  • A good standard of written English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships
  • A professional approach, with discretion and commitment to confidentiality
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Reliability, flexibility and the ability to work effectively within a team
