Every shift is a chance to make the difference. Hours: Average of 5 hours per week over a 6-week rota. Location: Northampton General Hospital. Salary: DHU Band 2, £24,853 per annum (pro rata).

Our UEC teams deliver expert care 24/7, working together to respond quickly when it's needed most. As a Runner, you will:

  • Support dispatch controllers and reception teams when demand is high
  • Answer queries, book appointments and contact patients with professionalism and care
  • Ensure patient information is recorded accurately and swiftly
  • Take walk-in forms to triage nurses and keep communication flowing
  • Help keep bases fully stocked and ready so clinicians can focus on care
