We are looking for a Receptionist to support our clinical staff and patients at our urgent care hubs. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a welcoming and efficient reception service for patients and clinicians.
- Ensure the reception area and consultation rooms are prepared and maintained for patient care.
- Manage patient appointments using SystmOne and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Assist clinicians with administrative tasks, including processing prescriptions and referral letters.
- Adhere to infection prevention & control protocols and ensure all necessary equipment is available.
- Respond to patient and colleague inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all safeguarding policies.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous reception experience (preferably in a healthcare setting).
- Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, and email systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a busy environment.
- A team player with a compassionate and professional attitude.
- Flexibility to cover shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (preferred).
