What your typical day looks like: Taking charge of autonomous clinical assessments, treatments, referrals, and providing advice to first-contact patients across a diverse range of clinical conditions through direct contact consultations. Excelling in communication, both verbal and nonverbal, establishing rapport with patients and caregivers. Making confident decisions and communicating them effectively, ensuring clarity and understanding. Recognising and initiating where appropriate advice of relevant specialisms. Maintaining appropriate clinical records in line with current practice guidelines. Working effectively as part of a multi professional team in collaboration with other members of the service. To be a successful Clinical Practitioner you’ll need: To be a Registered Adult Nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), a Paramedic registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) or a pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Evidence of autonomous practice – Autonomous practice A33 Level 6 or 7 clinical examination module Level 6 or 7 minor illness module Motivation, passion, positivity, resilience, and a determination to provide outstanding patient care.
