Responsibilities

  • Proactively provide administrative services and undertake clerical duties in a professional, timely manner.
  • Maintain manual/computerised records as required to a high standard.
  • Prepare appropriate reports, briefing papers, documents and presentations as required.
  • Provide effective and appropriate communication between the Clinical Governance department and other parts of the organization and external bodies.
  • Support with locating telephone calls for the investigation of complaints, queries and incidents.
  • Answer queries on complaints and incidents from outside agencies and DHU managers using agreed protocols and standards in an efficient and courteous manner.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in relation to all issues concerned within the service and adhere to the requirements of The Data Protection Act and Information Governance.

Qualifications

  • 4 GCSEs Grades A-C or equivalent including English and Maths.
  • Competence in office system development and maintenance.
  • IT literacy skills in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
