As Clinical Director, you will act as the senior clinical leader for NHS 111, with delegated authority for clinical governance, quality assurance and patient safety across the service. You will ensure clinical quality, operational delivery and patient experience are fully aligned, driving improvement and innovation across the pathway.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the clinical governance framework and assurance processes
  • Drive improvement in patient safety, experience and outcomes
  • Provide clinical leadership for the Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) and service transformation
  • Work closely with operational leaders to align performance, demand and clinical risk
  • Represent DHU at system level across ICBs and urgent care partners
