Are you an organised and proactive individual looking to play a key role in supporting vital services? We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide high-quality administrative assistance across our Business Continuity and Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) portfolio
What your typical day looks like:
- Support the updating of the DHU business continuity management system (BCMS)
- Maintain and update the Business Continuity Portal as the single trusted source for all BC information for DHU
- Effective administration of all Business Continuity/EPRR documentation ensuring accurate updates are completed
- within agreed timescales
- Incorporate learning from business continuity events and exercising as updates to Business Continuity plans
- Maintain the Business Continuity Workplan to ensure that correct deliverables are identified and completed on time and to standard
- Provide effective and efficient administration to support compliance with EPRR core standards and ISO 22301
- Provide administration support to the end-to-end process management of each stage of the EPRR Core Standards

- Engage with internal stakeholders at the relevant stage of the process, where applicable
- Arrange meetings and capture notes and actions from EPRR and ISO 22301 related meetings
- Assist with preparation of supporting evidence for ISO 22301 audit interviews
- Schedule, book and arrange Business Continuity exercise
- Be first port of call for enquiries into the team, which may come in via telephone, email or in writing
- Liaise with operational and IT colleagues to maintain and update DHU On Call rota
To be a successful Business Continuity and & EPRR Administrator , you will need:
- Good general education to GCSE or equivalent
- ECDL/CLAIT/Technical Certificate or equivalent
- OCR/RSA Word Processing Qualification
- Strong administrative background 3+ years\’ experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook
