We're seeking an exceptional Advanced Practitioner to join our dynamic teams across Derbyshire, Leicestershire, or Northamptonshire where no two days are the same. Position: Advanced Practitioner
Location: Derbyshire, Leicestershire, or Northamptonshire
What DHU can offer you:
- Working Patterns: Full-time and part-time hours available, covering a variation of shifts including: days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Competitive salary: DHU Band 8b.0, £62,484 - £72,885 per annum (pro rata). DHU will acknowledge continued service pay within the scope of this role.
What your typical day looks like:
- Practicing autonomously without direct supervision across the four pillars of advanced practice: clinical practice, leadership and management, education, and research.
- Utilising advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients requiring the clinical service.
- Recognising the need for, initiating, and where appropriate interpreting relevant diagnostic investigations.
- Exhibiting excellent nonverbal and verbal communication skills when dealing with patients and carers.
- Maintaining appropriate clinical records in line with current practice guidelines.
- Working within the parameters of your skills and knowledge, recognising the limitations to your own practice and working within the bounds of your training and capability according to regulatory codes of conduct.
To be a successful Advanced Practitioner you'll need:
- Registered Adult Nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), Paramedic registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), or Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Registered as an independent non-medical prescriber.
- Substantial autonomous practice working in a multi-professional team.
- Ability to complete a concise clinical history and physical examination.
