What your typical day looks like:

  • Provide autonomous, advanced clinical care
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients effectively
  • Conduct and interpret relevant diagnostic investigations
  • Maintain high-quality clinical records
  • Work as part of a team and collaborate with other members of staff within DHU

To be a successful Advanced Practitioner you’ll need:

  • Registered and practicing with a Professional Body
  • Registered as a non-medical prescriber, practicing post qualification for 6 months
  • Have a minimum of two Level 7 modules, including Minor Illness OR Major Illness
  • Experience working in either Primary Care or Urgent Care
  • Autonomous practice in multi-professional teams
