Location: Orbis Derby DE24 8HY. This is a site-based role and currently we are not offering remote working.
Working patterns: Full time and Part Time positions available.
Salary: Band 8a.0 £53,770 pro rata + 30% evening enhancements and 45% weekend enhancements.
Our NHS 111 Clinical Practitioners play a central role in delivering safe, high-quality urgent care across our services. Working within our 111 teams, you’ll use your autonomous clinical skills to assess, treat and refer patients who contact us by phone or digital platforms, ensuring they receive the right care, first time.
As a NHS 111 Clinical Practitioner you’ll bring:
- Autonomous clinical assessment skills and experience managing complex, common urgent care presentations.
- Evidence of robust clinical decision-making and risk management.
- Excellent communication skills, able to negotiate, explain and support patients and carers.
- Confidence using telephony-based clinical triage and digital systems.
- Compassion, professionalism and a commitment to lifelong learning.
