Salary:£29,970 per annum

Location: Oldbury

Working Hours:37.5 Fixed Term to the end of March 2026

What your typical day looks like:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for managers and staff on absence-related queries, including sickness, family leave and other time off
  • Supporting formal and informal absence meetings and providing proactive advice and guidance in line with our CARE values and policies
  • Managing Occupational Health referrals and following up with managers and other teams
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and documentation in line with GDPR and regulatory standards
  • Supporting key HR projects such as TUPE transfers, Management of Change and audits
  • Building positive working relationships with colleagues across the organisation and contributing to a compassionate, values-led workplace

To be a successful Human Resources Advisor, you’ll need:

  • Motivation, positivity and a passion for supporting people
  • A CIPD Level 5 qualification (or Level 3 with ongoing study toward Level 5)
  • At least 2 years’ generalist HR/ER experience
  • Confidence in managing competing priorities and providing professional advice under pressure
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with HR systems and Excel
