As a Healthcare Assistant/Receptionist you will:
- Undertake specific skills to include, amongst others: phlebotomy, cannulation, electrocardiogram (ECG), bladder scanning, recording of vital sign measurements and wound care/closure using aseptic technique.
- Undertake validation and follow up assessment post eTriage/manual triage.
- Ability to recognise the acutely unwell patient and escalating promptly to the clinician in charge.
- Welcome patients as they arrive at the Urgent Care Centre.
- Assist in general administrative and clerical duties and maintain manual/computerised records as required.
- Assist registered professions in administrative duties including data entry and use of IT systems.
