We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the DHU safeguarding team as a Safeguarding Assistant Practitioner. The successful candidate will work within both Children's and Adults safeguarding arenas, ensuring that vulnerable children and adults at risk engaging with DHU are identified and safeguarded.
The role involves a variety of activities, including:
- Preparing and delivering training to DHU staff
- Assisting the Child and Adult Safeguarding leads in fulfilling corporate safeguarding responsibilities
- Undertaking audits, quality assurance, and report writing
- Liaising with Social Care, Child Health Services, and other organizations
- Supporting DHU staff with safeguarding issues
The DHU safeguarding team is part of the overall corporate governance structure and covers all contracts held by DHU, which adds to the interest and variety of the role.
