Position supervises the activities of inmates in the preparation and serving of meals for the population and staff. Trains inmates in all kitchen policies and procedures. Maintains a high standard of food safety, sanitation and quality in a cost-efficient manner.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor and supervise the work of others.

  • Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, cost controls and operating and repairing food service equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Outlook.
