The Job
To provide support and assistance to both internal Service department and external customers, whilst maintaining a strong focus on the business objectives within the parts department. By delivering a high level of customer satisfaction the role is a vital part of the business. A key front‑line role that requires a consistent and professional approach to customer service at all times.
Responsible for dealing with all aspects of customer enquiries, the position demands strong communication skills with customers, whilst working as a team to both maximise sales and offer a high degree of technical knowledge.
The role main focus areas include but are not exclusive to:
- Answering inbound calls
- Work with other team members within the department to achieve all objectives
- Action all enquiries from both internal departments and external customers
- Adherence to all current procedures
- Use of the CRM systems as per specified procedures
- Accurately identify all parts required
- Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction through a friendly and helpful approach
- Process customer orders in line with specified procedures
- Maintain stock levels
- Co‑ordinate back‑order process
- Take ownership of parts related customer service issues and take the necessary action to achieve a satisfactory conclusion
- Always keep customers up to date with current proceedings
This would suit someone from a parts background, preferably with a mechanical understanding and knowledge of tail lifts and their systems.
