The Job

To provide support and assistance to both internal Service department and external customers, whilst maintaining a strong focus on the business objectives within the parts department. By delivering a high level of customer satisfaction the role is a vital part of the business. A key front‑line role that requires a consistent and professional approach to customer service at all times.

Responsible for dealing with all aspects of customer enquiries, the position demands strong communication skills with customers, whilst working as a team to both maximise sales and offer a high degree of technical knowledge.

The role main focus areas include but are not exclusive to:

  • Answering inbound calls
  • Work with other team members within the department to achieve all objectives
  • Action all enquiries from both internal departments and external customers
  • Adherence to all current procedures
  • Use of the CRM systems as per specified procedures
  • Accurately identify all parts required
  • Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction through a friendly and helpful approach
  • Process customer orders in line with specified procedures
  • Maintain stock levels
  • Co‑ordinate back‑order process
  • Take ownership of parts related customer service issues and take the necessary action to achieve a satisfactory conclusion
  • Always keep customers up to date with current proceedings

This would suit someone from a parts background, preferably with a mechanical understanding and knowledge of tail lifts and their systems.
