The Impact You’ll Make

You’re the first point of contact for every golfer who steps into the shop — the person who sets the tone for their entire day on the course. With a warm welcome, helpful guidance, and a genuine passion for the game, you help create memorable experiences before they even reach the first tee.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver exceptional service and hospitality to all Members and Guests across every area of the Golf Operation.
  • Meet the standards required to pass Marriott audits, including the Marriott Golf Audit and ‘59 Club Mystery Shopper’ assessments.
  • Manage golf reservations, ensuring accurate bookings and correct revenue processing.
  • Support daily shop operations, including merchandising, stock control, and maintaining a clean, organised environment.
  • Check in golfers and assist with the smooth management of tee times.
  • Help oversee the buggy fleet — cleaning, fuelling, positioning, and ensuring availability for current and next‑day play.
  • Monitor and maintain locker room facilities, carrying out cleaning when needed.
  • Assist with ball management and cleanliness at the driving range.
  • Follow all hotel guidelines for sanitisation and safety across golf operations, equipment, retail areas, buggies, and confectionery.
  • Carry out course marshalling duties when required.
  • Ensure the Halfway House is fully operational and welcoming.
  • Conduct green fee checks and collect tickets at the 1st tee.
  • Support corporate and society golf days, including banner setup, scorecard marking, scoreboard updates, and general event assistance.
  • Host organisers and help ensure golf days run smoothly from start to finish.
  • Assist with member competitions, bookings, and handicap maintenance.

What We’re Looking For

  • A warm, friendly, people‑focused personality.
  • A strong team player with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A keen interest in golf (PGA qualification desirable but not essential).

What you’ll enjoy

  • Competitive hourly rate.
  • Complimentary Leisure Club membership.
  • Global hotel discounts for you, friends & family.
  • Access to Benefit Hub for unlimited deals from retailers to restaurants and more.
