As a Casual Front Office Associate, you will be one of the first points of contact for our guests, ensuring that their experience is smooth, welcoming, and memorable from the moment they arrive.
Guest Service & Front Desk Duties
- Welcome guests warmly, ensuring a friendly and professional check-in and check-out experience.
- Assist guests with enquiries, directions, local knowledge, and hotel information.
- Handle guest issues professionally, resolving problems promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions.
- Communicate efficiently with other departments to fulfil guest requests.
Operational Excellence
- Operate front office systems, including PMS and switchboard, as required.
- Uphold cleanliness and organisation at the front desk, lobby, and guest-facing areas.
- Follow cash handling procedures where applicable.
- Maintain compliance with safety, hygiene, and hotel standards.
- Support colleagues and ensure adequate coverage during busy periods.
Teamwork & Communication
- Communicate using clear and professional language.
- Build positive working relationships with team members and other departments.
- Support the team to reach operational goals and maintain service excellence.
