Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7, 7am – 3pm or 3pm – 11pm (flexibility is required to cover the opposite shift when needed)
Location: Derby – DE74 2BF

We\’re now looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to lead our shift operations, drive performance and ensure a safe, efficient and high-quality service for our customer.

WHAT YOU\’LL DO

• Lead and coordinate shift operations to ensure smooth, efficient depot performance that meets DHL and customer standards
• Plan labour and resources effectively while maintaining strong communication across the team
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety requirements to drive a strong Safety First culture onsite
• Monitor shift performance, manage productivity, and oversee stock movement to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, implementing solutions, and supporting operational excellence

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Proven experience leading teams within a fast-paced warehousing or complex supply chain environment
• Strong skills in driving performance, engagement and motivation through effective communication and leadership
• Experience delivering change initiatives and using process improvement techniques
• Confident with IT systems, including Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently while supporting continuous improvement
