Job Title: Warehouse Operative with RTITB Counterbalance and/or Reach Licence
Pay Rate: £23,809.50 + £1,780.36 Shift Pay = £25,589.86 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 37.5 hours between 07:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday
Location: Glasgow, G32 8RH
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.
Responsibilities
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.
- Be responsible for picking and packing specified items (Railway Spares) from storage and prepare them for shipment.
- Using Fork Lift Truck to transport items around the Warehouse in a safe and efficient manner, loading and unloading wagons.
- Manual handling of items weighing up to £25Kg
- Processing incoming and outgoing stock using in house computerised stock control system
Qualifications
- CURRENT RTITB COUNTERBALANCE OR REACH FLT LICENCE (ESSENTIAL)
- Previous experience in a Warehouse environment
- Basic computer literacy
