We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to join our busy Warehouse Operation in Daventry for our customer contract, Sainsburys. This is a varied and hands‐on role, combining core administrative responsibilities with ad‐hoc warehouse operative duties to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the site. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day‐to‐day operations, working closely with both office and warehouse teams, and must be comfortable switching between administrative tasks and practical, floor‐based activities as required.

Typical Day / Responsibilities

  • To provide comprehensive clerical support services to the First Line Manager and Team Leader
  • To provide comprehensive clerical support services to the warehouse operation
  • To carry out administrative tasks associated with the WMS and WCS, including order allocation, user maintenance, and error reporting and problem identification
  • To deal with day‐to‐day queries from Customer/Operations/Suppliers
  • To assist the operation in achieving KPIs/objectives, training and continuous improvement
  • To ensure that administrative duties are carried out and systems are updated in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within a Warehouse Administrative role is essential
  • Experience within a warehousing/supply‐chain environment
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Able to prioritise conflicting workloads
  • Strong eye for detail
  • IT literate – Microsoft packages and internal systems
  • Excellent organisational skills
